Quantity Surveyor - Ref DBMP

Manage commercial, measurement, payment, variation, claim, and cost-control under the direction of the Resident Engineer and in coordination with DM. • Prepare and verify measurements, interim payment evaluations, BOQ checks, cost planning reports, variation assessments, quantity takeoff, preparation of bills of quantities in CESMM format, claims support, rate analysis, and final account inputs. • Review Contractor’s quantities, supporting documents, dayworks, commercial submissions, and payment records. • Maintain cost records, change registers, payment logs, measurement sheets, and commercial correspondence. • Support the Resident Engineer in evaluating contractual entitlement, substantiation, and cost impact of proposed changes, claims, omissions, and variations. Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent. • Professional qualifications such as MRICS, RICS pathway, or equivalent are preferred. • Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience. • Experience in quantity surveying and post-contract commercial administration in infrastructure projects. • Strong experience in CESMM-based BOQs, measurement, payment certification, variation valuation, claims assessment, final accounts, and infrastructure contracts.
