Job description
BCD Global is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Quality Engineer with Unlimited License credentials to oversee quality assurance and quality control across our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in site inspections, material testing, quality documentation, and ensuring that works meet approved specifications, consultant requirements, and applicable UAE standards. Working closely with project engineers, contractors, consultants, and testing laboratories, you will play a key role in identifying and resolving non-conformances, strengthening quality procedures, and ensuring consistent standards of workmanship from initial construction through to final handover. Review and approve Contractor's QA/QC manual, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and method statements prior to commencement. Conduct rigorous on-site inspections for structural works, concrete pours, blockwork, finishing, and MEP installations. Coordinate third-party material testing for concrete, steel, soil, and finishing products with Dubai Municipality-accredited labs. Issue, track, and close out Internal Non-Conformance Reports (INCRs), Site Quality Observations (SQOs), and authority NCRs. Receive, log, and resolve quality-related complaints, material rejections, and technical disputes between main contractors and suppliers. Conduct regular internal quality audits on site execution, material storage, and document control systems. Maintain comprehensive QA/QC records, test result logs, calibration certificates, and material approval documentation. Liaise with project consultants, structural engineers, and municipal inspectors during final handover and structural certification stages.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management System (QMS) & Compliance
Implementing and enforcing strict QA/QC standards aligned with ISO certifications, UAE National Building Codes, and local municipal regulations for G+Unlimited projects.
Inspection & Testing Management
Overseeing material inspections, structural testing, and site quality control protocols to ensure zero defects and complete structural integrity.
Audit & Regulatory Coordination
Managing authority audits, third-party laboratory certifications, and municipal inspections (Dubai Municipality / Civil Defence / consultants).
Non-Conformance & Dispute Resolution
Investigating quality failures, resolving subcontractor/material disputes, and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
