• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and plans for the project.
• Perform regular site inspections to ensure that construction activities comply with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and verify the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure they meet project specifications.
• Prepare and implement quality control plans, ensuring that all aspects of construction are inspected and tested.
• Conduct inspections of materials and equipment delivered to the site and reject substandard materials.
• Review and verify construction drawings and specifications to ensure proper understanding and implementation of quality requirements.
• Conduct material and product testing as required by the project specifications.
• Provide technical support and advice to project teams on quality control and assurance processes.
• Review contractor and subcontractor performance and quality control procedures.
• Coordinate and supervise non-destructive testing (NDT), inspections, and audits.
• Develop and maintain quality records and documentation, including test results, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Report any quality-related issues, incidents, or deviations to the project management team and suggest corrective actions.
• Conduct root cause analysis for any non-conformance or quality issues and recommend corrective measures.
• Participate in internal and external audits, including audits by regulatory authorities or certification bodies.
• Provide training to staff and contractors regarding quality standards and procedures.
• Monitor and track quality performance metrics and report them regularly to the Quality Manager and project management team.
• Ensure that all corrective actions and quality improvements are implemented on-site.
• Review and approve project quality documentation, such as method statements, quality checklists, and inspection and test plans (ITPs).
• Participate in project meetings to review quality performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Engineering Degree Minimum ,IMS Lead auditor / Internal auditor certification added advantage
• 7+ years of relevant experience
