QA/QC Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE Department: Design Experience: 3–6 years Job Description We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to oversee construction quality from the developer/client side. The role involves monitoring site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, design intent, project specifications, authority requirements, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Conduct site inspections to verify construction quality and compliance with approved IFC drawings and specifications. • Identify, document, and follow up on construction defects and quality non-conformances (NCRs). • Ensure corrective actions are implemented and quality issues are resolved within agreed timelines. • Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and construction works for compliance with approved design intent. • Verify compliance with authority-approved drawings, permits, NOCs, and regulatory requirements. • Coordinate with contractors and project stakeholders to resolve technical and quality issues. • Prepare weekly QA/QC reports and maintain inspection records and quality registers. • Verify as-built documentation and construction quality before project handover. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture. • 5–8 years of experience in QA/QC within the construction industry. • Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, technical drawings, specifications, and site inspection procedures. • Experience identifying construction defects and managing NCRs and corrective actions. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and PDF markup tools; knowledge of Revit is an advantage. • Familiarity with construction document management or project management software such as Aconex, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms. • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Preferred: Experience in developer-side or client-side QA/QC, monitoring contractors' work, and ensuring compliance with approved designs and specifications. .
