PURCHASE OFFICER – WOODEN JOINERY

• Source and procure materials required for wooden joinery and fire-rated wooden doors . • Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and negotiate prices and payment terms. • Obtain quotations, compare prices, and prepare purchase orders. • Coordinate with the Factory, Projects, Estimation, Stores, and Accounts departments. • Ensure timely availability of materials as per project and production requirements. • Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, lead times, and material quality. • Maintain proper records of suppliers, quotations, purchase orders, and deliveries. • Follow up with suppliers regarding pending materials and delivery schedules. • Develop and maintain good relationships with local and international suppliers. • Minimum 2-8 years of experience in purchasing/procurement within the wooden joinery or interior fit-out industry . • Experience with fire-rated wooden doors is mandatory. • Good knowledge of wood, veneers, MDF, plywood, laminates, hardware, adhesives, paints/polishes, fire-rated materials, and other joinery-related materials . • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. • Good knowledge of the UAE market and local suppliers will be an advantage. • Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills. • Proficiency in MS Office / Excel .
