Job description

• Lead and manage the successful end-to-end delivery and execution of projects within card business domain. • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and vendors, ensuring seamless coordination. • Manage project lifecycles, including requirements gathering, functional specs, process flow mapping, testing, and implementation. • Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, involving relevant stakeholders as needed. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for successful execution. • Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. • Facilitate collaboration between technical teams and business units and relevant stakeholders for smooth implementation. • Provide regular project status updates, dashboards, and reports to senior leadership. • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations throughout the project execution. • Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e. Project Management, Engineering, Technology, or related). • 10-15 years of banking industry experience with a proven track record in project management and delivery of complex projects within Cards Technology domain. • Strong expertise in Card Management Systems (CMS). • Proven ability to manage schedules, resources, and budgets while delivering high-quality projects. • Experience working with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project). • Strong understanding of SDLC, IT infrastructure, systems integration, and payments architecture (i.e. CMS, Payment Gateway, Core Banking, Fraud Detection, Authorization, Clearing & Settlement). • Vendor management experience, including coordination with third-party providers and IT teams. • Knowledge of UAE banking regulations and Consumer Protection Regulations (preferred). Skills & Competencies • Fluent in English. • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Excellent problem-solving and risk management abilities. • Domain expertise in cards technology. • Technical proficiency in project management methodologies and best practices. • Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent in project management are highly desirable
