Project Engineer- Civil/ Fit-Out

Objective / Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer Civil / Fit-Out who is results-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will manage site operations, coordinate with contractors, and ensure civil and fit-out works are executed to the highest quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Project Execution & Coordination • Manage communication and coordination between all parties involved in the project. • Review drawings, specifications, and materials to ensure accurate execution. • Liaise with main and sub-contractors to ensure smooth task completion and adherence to site regulations. • Support the Project Manager in resolving technical issues and providing updates on project progress. Site Supervision • Oversee daily site operations, including supervising site labor and subcontractors. • Act as the main technical advisor on-site for civil and fit-out work. • Ensure that all materials and workmanship comply with approved specifications and project standards. • Work effectively within multi-national project teams. Quality & Compliance • Conduct regular inspections to maintain high-quality workmanship. • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security regulations at all times. • Identify site issues and implement corrective actions promptly. Documentation & Reporting • Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and materials. • Prepare daily reports and communicate progress updates to the Project Manager. Education, Experience, and Skills Education • Bachelors degree in civil engineering. • Advanced degrees or professional certifications in construction management are a plus. Experience • 8+ years of relevant experience in civil and interior fit-out projects. • Experience working in multi-national teams preferred. • Experience in Gulf countries / Middle East required. Technical Skills • Strong knowledge of civil works and interior fit-out construction processes. • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD. • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents. • Knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards in construction. Preferred Nationalities - Candidates from India, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka. Persona • Gender: Male or Female. • Age Requirement: Below 35 years old. • +Mandatory Experience: Interior Fit-out experience in Middle East / Gulf countries (Qatar or UAE preferred). • Fit-Out Expertise: Strong background in commercial, residential, and hospitality interior fit-out projects. • Experience Range: 8+ years relevant experience; multi-national project experience preferred. • Location Preference: Candidates currently based in Qatar, UAE, or available for relocation. .
