Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled **Principal Software Engineer** to lead our engineering team, architect complex systems, and deliver world\-class software solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding technical strategy, mentoring developers, and ensuring the highest standards of software quality. Key Responsibilities * **Technical leadership**: Lead software engineering projects and define technical direction. * **System architecture**: Design scalable, secure, and efficient software architectures. * **Code quality**: Establish coding standards, conduct reviews, and ensure best practices. * **Team mentorship**: Coach and develop junior engineers to enhance technical expertise. * **Innovation**: Integrate emerging technologies into product development. * **Collaboration**: Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals. Qualifications * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. * 10\+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role. * Expertise in modern programming languages (Java, C\#, Python, or JavaScript). * Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architecture. * Proven track record of delivering enterprise\-grade applications. * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem\-solving skills. * Familiarity with Bahrain’s technology ecosystem is an advantage.
