Principal Cloud Architect

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Principal Cloud Architect to lead the design and evolution of our cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, security, automation, and modern application development. This role partners with engineering, security, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient, and cost\-effective cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities * Define and drive the organization's cloud architecture strategy and roadmap. * Design secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient cloud solutions. * Lead cloud migration, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives. * Establish cloud architecture standards, governance, and best practices. * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects and engineering teams. * Collaborate with product, engineering, infrastructure, security, and executive leadership. * Design hybrid and multi\-cloud architectures where appropriate. * Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep. * Implement DevOps, CI/CD, GitOps, and automation practices. * Ensure cloud environments comply with security, regulatory, and compliance requirements. * Optimize cloud performance, reliability, scalability, and operational costs. * Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend adoption strategies. * Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical oversight for major projects. * Define disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies. * Support capacity planning and cloud governance initiatives. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
