Payroll Specialist

Job Summary The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate, timely, and confidential processing of monthly payroll for more than 800 employees, including engineers, project staff, site personnel, technical employees, and administrative staff. The role ensures that payroll is processed in accordance with company policies, employment contracts, applicable labor laws, statutory requirements, and approved compensation structures. The position works closely with HR, Finance, Project Management, and Site Administration teams to maintain accurate payroll records, manage employee compensation, and support payroll reporting and audits. Key Responsibilities • Payroll Processing and Administration • Attendance and Timesheet Management • Payroll Compliance and Statutory Requirements • Payroll Reconciliation and Financial Controls • Employee Records and Payroll Systems • Reporting and Analysis • Coordination and Continuous Improvement Qualifications and Experience • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant payroll experience; experience handling payroll for 500–800+ employees is strongly preferred. • Previous experience in engineering, construction, contracting, or other project-based industries is an advantage. • Practical knowledge of payroll calculations, attendance management, overtime, leave settlements, and employee final settlements. • Experience with ERP, HRIS, and payroll systems; knowledge of Odoo, SAP or similar systems is desirable. • Strong Excel skills, including lookup functions, pivot tables, data validation, and payroll reconciliation. • Knowledge of applicable labor legislation, statutory deductions, and payroll compliance requirements. • Professional payroll or accounting certification is an advantage. -
