Operations Superintendent

Our client, a leading Saudi-based Aramco contractor, is seeking an experienced Operations Superintendent to oversee drilling and work over operations across multiple rigs in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should have strong operational leadership experience, particularly in onshore truck-mounted jack rigs with 750 HP capacity, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with client requirements. Drilling & Workover Onshore and Offshore IWCF or IADC Well Sharp certification Responsibilities • Supervise Rig Managers and monitor performance across assigned rigs. • Plan and coordinate rig operations, manpower, equipment, and work programs. • Monitor downtime, NPT, operational costs, and contractual KPIs. • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and Saudi Aramco requirements. • Lead operational reviews, incident investigations, and performance improvement initiatives. • Coordinate with maintenance, HSE, HR, logistics, procurement, and quality teams. • Review operational reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented. • Support client meetings, audits, and operational risk assessments. • What's great in the job? • Great team of smart people, in a friendly and open culture • No dumb managers, no stupid tools to use, no rigid working hours • No waste of time in enterprise processes, real responsibilities and autonomy • Expand your knowledge of various business industries • Create content that will help our users on a daily basis • Real responsibilities and challenges in a fast evolving company What We Offer Compensation & Benefits Salary range SAR 27,000 37,800/month. Rig site bonus: SAR 150/day. Accommodation and food provided at rig site. Employment visa and medical insurance. Leave 30 calendar days every 6 months. Paid to and from air ticket Career growth and professional development opportunities. • Minimum High School qualification • Minimum 16 years of experience in drilling and workover operations. • Extensive experience in senior operational leadership and multi-rig management. • Strong onshore rig supervision experience, preferably with 750 HP truck-mounted jack rigs. • Both onshore and offshore experience mandatory. • Valid IWCF or IADC WellSharp certification required. • BOP certification required • Fluent in spoken and written English. • First Aid, CPR, and H S certifications required Nice to have • Those who have studied in Europe or South America shall be given priority. • Saudi Aramco contractor experience and knowledge of HSE requirements and contractual KPIs preferred. • TAPROOT training/certification preferred. • Saudi Aramco projects experience is an advantage.
