Operation Manager - Construction

• Oversee and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously from planning and mobilization through execution and final handover. • Develop operational strategies, project plans, budgets, and schedules to achieve business objectives. • Monitor project progress, productivity, costs, cash flow, and profitability across all ongoing projects. • Lead and supervise Project Managers, Construction Managers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, and other project teams. • Allocate manpower, machinery, equipment, and materials efficiently across projects. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and government authorities. • Ensure projects are completed within approved budgets, timelines, quality standards, and contractual requirements. • Identify operational challenges, project delays, and cost overruns, and implement effective corrective actions. • Oversee procurement, subcontractor management, resource planning, and material availability. • Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, health and safety standards, approved drawings, and project specifications. • Review project reports, conduct regular site visits, and provide operational performance updates to senior management. • Manage contractual matters, variations, claims, and project-related commercial issues in coordination with relevant departments. • Drive continuous improvement in construction processes, resource utilization, and overall operational performance. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. • Minimum 15–20 years of experience in the construction industry , preferably within UAE construction or contracting companies. • Proven experience in a senior operations management role, overseeing multiple construction projects simultaneously . • Strong background in managing Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors, budgets, and project schedules. • Demonstrated expertise in project planning, cost control, budgeting, resource allocation, and operational management. • Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts, procurement, quality control, and HSE requirements. • Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure the successful delivery of projects within established timelines and budgets.
