Onsite Moderator - Arabic Speech Recording Project

About the project Bracketbridge is looking for an onsite moderator to guide participants through an Arabic speech recording project and manage the recordings. The location within the UAE is flexible. Sessions involve two participants speaking the same dialect. Each pair completes three natural conversations of 40 minutes each. The project covers Gulf Arabic, Egyptian Arabic and Najdi Arabic. Your responsibilities • Welcome participants and explain the session instructions. • Sit with participants and guide them through the session. • Set up the recording equipment and make a test recording. • Start, monitor and save the recordings. • Make sure the audio is clear and follows our recording requirements. • Resolve recording issues and repeat affected sections when needed. • Check, label and upload completed recordings. We will provide the project brief, recording instructions and acceptance criteria. Compensation This is a paid project. Payment details will be discussed with applicants. Shortlisted applicants will receive the full project brief and technical requirements. Based in the UAE and available onsite. Fluent Arabic. English is preferred but not required. Comfortable briefing participants and guiding conversations. Reliable, organised and attentive to audio quality. Able to follow technical instructions and check recordings against our acceptance criteria. Previous experience is not required if you can carry out these tasks reliably.
