Officer Asset Management

• Tagging & Registration: Physically identify new assets post-receiving, apply barcode/RFID tags, and record serial numbers, locations, and custodians. • Movement Tracking: Maintain movement, assignment, replacement, and return records using approved forms. Conduct checks (especially for IT assets) to reconcile unreported movements with IT and custodians. • Physical Verification: Perform periodic site verifications to confirm asset existence, location, condition, and barcode accuracy, while documenting and tracking discrepancies. • Documentation & Audits: Keep the Asset Register and electronic files updated and traceable. Coordinate with Stores, Procurement, and IT to resolve data gaps and support asset audits. • Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field. • Experience: 2–3 years in asset management, inventory control, or similar operational roles. • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and asset tracking systems; familiarity with barcode/RFID identification; strong documentation and coordination skills.
