The role ensures hotel facilities remain safe, reliable and maintained to the highest standards while supporting an exceptional guest experience. A Multi-Skilled Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing hotel facilities, equipment, guestrooms, public areas, meeting spaces, back-of-house areas, and engineering plant rooms. The role requires a flexible, hands-on approach, technical knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to respond promptly to maintenance requests and operational requirements. Specifically, you will be responsible for: Full job description Multi-Skilled Technician – Job Description • Carry out general maintenance and repair works across multiple trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, masonry, and basic civil works. • Attend preventive and corrective maintenance requests and complete assigned work within the required timeframe. • Inspect equipment, fixtures, and building systems to identify faults and maintenance requirements. • Perform minor electrical repairs such as replacing switches, sockets, lights, and other basic components. • Carry out basic plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, replacing fittings, and clearing minor blockages. • Assist with basic HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting as required. • Perform minor carpentry, painting, tiling, plastering, and general repair works. • Use tools, equipment, and materials properly and maintain them in good working condition. • Report major defects or technical issues that require specialist attention. • Maintain proper records of completed maintenance activities and work orders. • Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians when required. • Ensure all work areas are kept clean and safe after completing maintenance activities. • Follow company HSE procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and safe working practices at all times. • Respond to emergency maintenance requests when required. Requirements: • Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Technician in Facilities Management, building maintenance, or a similar environment. • Good practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance works. • Technical certificate or diploma in a relevant trade is preferred. • Ability to troubleshoot basic maintenance issues independently. • Good knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. • Ability to follow technical instructions and work orders. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Physically fit and able to work in different site conditions. • Knowledge of health and safety procedures and proper use of PPE. • Immediate joiners will be preferred.
