MEP Supervisor – Construction

Job Description We are looking for an **experienced MEP Supervisor** with a strong **building construction background** to join our team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily MEP site activities, coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, technicians, and other trades, and ensuring that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate daily **MEP installation works** on construction sites. * Oversee Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, drainage, and related MEP activities. * Read and interpret **MEP drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and technical specifications**. * Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams. * Supervise technicians, workers, and subcontractors on site. * Monitor work progress, manpower, materials, and equipment. * Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper quality and workmanship. * Identify and resolve site issues, clashes, and installation problems. * Follow up on **snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover** activities. * Ensure compliance with construction safety procedures and project requirements. * Prepare daily progress and manpower reports. * Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and project management. Requirements * Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in **Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering**, or a related technical field. * **3–5\+ years of experience** in MEP supervision within the construction industry. * **Strong knowledge of building construction and hands\-on MEP site work is required.** * Experience in **villa, residential, commercial, or high\-rise construction projects** is highly preferred. * Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other building services. * Ability to read and understand MEP shop drawings and technical documents. * Experience managing subcontractors and site teams. * Good knowledge of construction site coordination, quality control, and HSE requirements. * Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem\-solving skills. * **Must be currently available in Bahrain.** * **Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.** Important **Candidates with a strong construction background are preferred.** Candidates whose experience is primarily in maintenance or facilities management without hands\-on construction experience may not be considered.
