Perform inspection, servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high-pressure breathing air compressors, industrial compressors, SCBA filling systems, and firefighting equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-system faults. Carry out repairs, component replacement, testing, and commissioning as required. Service and maintain high-pressure reciprocating and breathing air compressors. Perform maintenance and servicing of equipment operating at pressures of up to approximately PHONE_NUMBER bar. Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential mechanical or operational issues. Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation. Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are carried out in accordance with applicable safety procedures, manufacturer recommendations, and technical standards. Provide technical support to customers at fire stations, oil & gas facilities, industrial plants, and other emergency-response sites. Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely completion of service and maintenance activities.
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 4 5 years of relevant hands-on experience with rotating equipment, particularly: High-pressure breathing air compressors Breathing air compressors Reciprocating compressors Industrial compressors SCBA filling systems Firefighting equipment Experience servicing and maintaining high-pressure compressors is preferred. Strong practical knowledge of breathing air and reciprocating compressor systems. Experience in fire stations, oil & gas facilities, industrial plants, or emergency-response organizations is an advantage. Ability to read and understand technical drawings, manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel to customer sites for field service, maintenance, and emergency support.
