AC Technician

Required responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Performing maintenance and repair works for split units, package units, ducted split units, and FCUs. • Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults in AC systems. • Checking compressors, fan motors, capacitors, contactors, thermostats, filters, drain lines, and refrigerant levels. • Carrying out cleaning, servicing, gas charging, leak checking, and general AC maintenance works. • Attending breakdowns and completing assigned jobs within the required time. • Following safety procedures and maintaining proper work quality. • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in AC maintenance and troubleshooting. • Good experience with Split AC, Ducted Split, Package Units and FCUs. • Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycle and HVAC fundamentals. • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical AC faults. • Experience in compressor, fan motor, capacitor, contactor, thermostat and control troubleshooting. • Good knowledge of refrigerant charging, pressure checking and refrigerant leak detection. • Ability to perform vacuuming, pressure testing and copper pipe brazing. • Skilled in using manifold gauges, vacuum pumps, clamp meters, multimeters and other HVAC service tools. • Ability to read basic electrical wiring diagrams and technical drawings. • Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of AC equipment. • Ability to troubleshoot drainage problems, airflow issues and cooling performance problems. • Capable of working independently and attending emergency breakdown calls. • Good understanding of safety procedures related to electrical works and refrigerant handling. • Previous experience in facility maintenance / commercial buildings is preferred. • Kuwait/GCC experience is preferred.
