MANAGER - SYSTEM OPERATIONS (PLATFORM ENGINEERING)

Job Summary: The Manager \- System Operations (Platform Engineering) will lead a team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable infrastructure. This role involves developing CI/CD pipelines, managing observability tools, and automating resources using Infrastructure as Code. The manager will ensure system availability, security, and compliance, troubleshoot technical issues, and stay updated with industry trends. Key Responsibilities:* Lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure across multi\-cloud and on\-premise environments. * Oversee the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and scaling of applications and infrastructure. * Implement and manage observability tools to monitor system performance, detect anomalies, and ensure high availability. * Utilize Infrastructure as Code to automate the provisioning and management of resources. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to define and implement best practices for system architecture, security, and compliance. * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure, applications, and services. * Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain efficient infrastructure. * Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Qualifications/ Experience:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * 5\-7 years of experience in platform engineering, system administration, or a related role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position. * Experience in managing and delivering projects. * Expertise in Cloud Services (AWS and Azure) and on\-premise infrastructure management. * Experience with CI/CD tools such as Github Actions, GitLab CI, or similar. * Proficiency in observability tools like New Relic, Grafana, or similar. * Hands\-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform. * Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and task management. * Understanding of system, security, and compliance best practices. * Strong problem\-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
