Job description
• Lead Business Support will support the Wholesale Banking Business Management Team in delivering client onboarding, KYC lifecycle, regulatory and change-management priorities. The role acts as the coordination point between Coverage, Relationship Managers, clients, KYC and Operations, Compliance, Technology and delivery teams. It will provide hands-on support for Client Connect across New-to-Bank (NTB) and Existing-to-Bank (ETB) journeys, drive annual Book of Work (BOW) refresh activities, manage business and client requirements, and coordinate annual regulatory reporting and related platform changes. The role is expected to combine strong banking-domain knowledge, structured requirement management and end-to-end ownership to improve client experience, data quality, turnaround time and control effectiveness.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in banking business analysis, business management, client onboarding, KYC/CLM, regulatory change or digital platform delivery, preferably within Wholesale Banking.
• Strong understanding of Wholesale Banking client onboarding and servicing, including NTB, ETB, periodic KYC refresh, client maintenance and RM-assisted/client-driven journeys.
• Practical experience supporting client-facing digital platforms and coordinating directly with clients, Relationship Managers, Operations, KYC, Compliance and Technology teams.
• Proven capability in annual BOW/portfolio refresh coordination, with disciplined case tracking, stakeholder follow-up, issue resolution and management reporting.
• Strong requirement-management skills, including elicitation, prioritisation, traceability, BRDs, user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria, UAT and change implementation.
• Good working knowledge of KYC and regulatory reporting themes, including client risk assessment, FATCA/CRS, CMP and downstream data/reporting dependencies.
• Ability to analyse complex operational issues, identify root causes, challenge ambiguity and convert business needs into practical process or system solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage clients and influence stakeholders across business, control and delivery functions.
• Strong ownership mindset, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, dependencies and escalations under pressure.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; experience with Agile/SDLC delivery and project or demand-management tools is preferred.
• The successful candidate will be outcome-oriented, collaborative and comfortable working hands-on, with a clear focus on client experience, regulatory compliance, operational stability and measurable business value.
