Landscape Engineer

• Supervise and manage daily landscape construction activities, including softscape, hardscape, planting, irrigation, and external works. • Review landscape drawings, shop drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements before execution. • Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution. • Monitor the installation of softscape elements, including trees, shrubs, ground covers, grass, and other planting materials. • Oversee hardscape works, including paving, interlocking, kerbstones, pathways, retaining walls, and landscape structures. • Coordinate irrigation system installation, including pipelines, valves, sprinklers, drip irrigation, and controllers. • Ensure landscape works are executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, and UAE authority requirements. • Prepare daily progress reports, site inspection reports, material requests, and work schedules. • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and HSE requirements. • Monitor project progress, manpower allocation, material consumption, and equipment utilization. • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of landscape materials, plants, and equipment. • Identify and resolve technical issues related to landscape construction and site execution. • Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and project management teams. • Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and maintenance of irrigation systems. • Coordinate inspections, snagging, rectification works, and final project handover. • Ensure completion of landscape works within the approved project schedule and budget. • Supervise landscape maintenance activities during the defects liability period. • Prepare and review method statements, material submittals, and technical documentation. • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, or a related field. • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in landscape construction projects, preferably in the UAE. • Strong knowledge of softscape, hardscape, irrigation systems, and landscape construction techniques. • Experience working with construction contractors, consultants, and subcontractors. • Familiarity with UAE landscaping standards, local authority regulations, and construction practices. • Ability to read and interpret landscape drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project reporting tools. • Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, site safety requirements, and construction documentation. • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. • UAE driving license is an advantage.
