Villa Landscaping Site Manager

• Supervise masons, tilers and labor daily; allocate tasks, track progress and report status. • Read drawings, set out on site, and inspect and sign off each stage before the next trade starts. • Flag drawing conflicts and site issues early, with proposed solutions. • Manage block work, plastering, concrete, retaining and boundary walls, planters and steps. • Oversee tile, stone, interlock and paving for driveways, walkways, patios and pool decks, including sub-base, levels, falls and drainage. • Manage pergolas, shade structures, gazebos, fencing, gates and stone cladding. • Lay irrigation sleeves, drainage and lighting conduits before paving and walls are closed. • Supervise soil preparation, tree pits and planting beds with the specified soil mix and fertilizer. • Manage planting of trees, palms, shrubs and groundcover, including staking; natural or artificial turf. • Inspect plant stock on delivery and reject sub-standard material. • Oversee irrigation (drip, sprinkler, controllers) and landscape lighting, with specialist subcontractors. • Manage watering schedules and post-planting care until handover; replace failed plants. • Follow up and check pool works by specialist contractors through testing and handover. • Oversee built-in BBQ stations, outdoor kitchens, fire features and seating walls, ensuring safe clearances and quality finish. • Act as single point of coordination with project managers, clients, subcontractors and suppliers. • Plan material orders, check deliveries, and handle permits, NOCs and community access requirements. • Keep daily records of attendance, labor, materials and petty cash; prepare simple progress reports and measurements. • Manage snagging and handover to the client’s satisfaction. • Enforce HSE rules (PPE, excavation, working at height), run toolbox talks and report incidents. • 5+ years in villa landscaping and outdoor construction (softscape and hardscape), including 2+ years supervising • UAE experience preferred • Practical knowledge of masonry, paving, concrete, pergolas and BBQ construction, and working knowledge of pool construction • Able to read architectural and landscape drawings and set out on site • Experience managing labor teams and subcontractors (irrigation, lighting, planting) • Basic bookkeeping and Excel • Familiar with UAE site practice and HSE standards • Diploma in civil or construction is an advantage • Strong leader with a high standard of finish and attention to detail • Good English; Arabic, Hindi or Urdu is an advantage • Organised, client-facing and smartphone-literate for photo reports and WhatsApp updates • Valid UAE driving license and knowledge of UAE-suited plant species are a plus
