Kitchen Commis

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Commis to join our culinary team in Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha, Qatar. As a Kitchen Commis , you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and assisting in the preparation of high-quality dishes. • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting ingredients • Follow recipes and cooking instructions as directed by senior kitchen staff • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards • Properly store and label food items, ensuring freshness and quality • Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils • Support other kitchen staff as needed during busy periods • Participate in kitchen inventory and restocking activities • Learn and adapt to new culinary techniques and recipes Qualifications • Culinary or hospitality education/certification is an advantage. • Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations. • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. • Good teamwork and communication skills. • Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. • Previous kitchen experience is an advantage.
