IT Support Specialist | IT Support Technician

• Provide timely and effective technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, resolving user problems efficiently. • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and mobile devices, ensuring optimal performance and usability. • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls, ensuring data security and compliance with IT policies. • Troubleshoot and diagnose network connectivity problems, performing repairs and upgrades to maintain seamless operations. • Perform regular system maintenance, including updates, patches, and backups, to prevent issues and ensure data integrity. • Document all support requests, resolutions, and system configurations in a knowledge base for future reference. • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate. • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk environment. • Proficiency in troubleshooting operating systems (Windows) and common business applications. • Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively. • Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems.
