IT Assistant

Provide first-line technical support to hotel staff, responding to IT requests and resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly. Assist in maintaining the hotel's IT infrastructure, including computers, printers, phones, Wi-Fi, and network equipment. Support the daily operation of hotel systems such as PMS, POS, and other business applications, escalating complex issues to the IT Manager or vendors. Install, configure, and update computers, devices, and software in line with company standards. Assist with routine backups, antivirus updates, and security checks to help protect hotel systems and data. Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support tickets, and maintenance activities. Set up IT equipment for meetings, conferences, and events, and support guests with in-room technology and internet access when needed. Assist with system upgrades, technology projects, and the setup of new users and devices. Follow company IT policies and security standards, and help train staff on basic system use and best practices. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 1 2 years of IT support experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, networking basics, and hardware troubleshooting. Familiarity with hotel systems such as PMS and POS is an advantage. Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused, service-oriented attitude. Ability to work in shifts and respond to urgent issues when required. Good organizational and communication skills. Fluent in English and Arabic.
