Infrastructure Draftsman

• Prepare detailed infrastructure drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings in accordance with project specifications and engineering requirements. • Develop drawings for roads, highways, pavements, kerbs, footpaths, and associated infrastructure works. • Prepare layouts, longitudinal profiles, and cross-sections for roads and underground utility networks. • Produce detailed drawings for stormwater drainage, sewerage, potable water supply, irrigation, and other utility networks. • Prepare drawings for underground services, including electrical ducts, telecommunications networks, and utility corridors. • Coordinate with civil engineers, infrastructure engineers, surveyors, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance. • Review engineering designs, specifications, and construction drawings to identify discrepancies and technical issues. • Prepare and update shop drawings based on approved design drawings, site conditions, and consultant comments. • Ensure all drawings comply with relevant Abu Dhabi authority requirements, including DMT, ADDC/TAQA Distribution, and other applicable utility authorities. • Assist in preparing utility coordination drawings and identifying potential clashes between underground services. • Incorporate site survey data, coordinates, levels, and alignment information into infrastructure drawings. • Maintain proper documentation, drawing registers, revision records, and drawing submission schedules. • Coordinate with site engineers and construction teams to resolve technical drawing-related issues during project execution. • Prepare accurate as-built drawings based on actual site measurements, approved modifications, and completed construction works. • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related discipline. • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure drafting within the construction industry. • Previous UAE experience in infrastructure projects is preferred. • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D. • Knowledge of roads, drainage, sewerage, water supply, and underground utility infrastructure. • Experience preparing shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings. • Familiarity with Abu Dhabi infrastructure standards and relevant authority requirements. • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and survey data. • Strong technical coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
