Civil Draftsman - Substation

Job Responsibilities • Prepare detailed 2D civil drawings for substation construction projects using AutoCAD . • Prepare drawings for foundations, buildings, equipment bases, trenches, roads, drainage, cable routes and other civil works . • Develop plans, sections, elevations and detailed construction drawings as per project requirements. • Review drawings and coordinate with Civil Engineers, Surveyors, MEP teams and site personnel . • Update drawings based on site conditions, engineer comments and design changes. • Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site measurements and completed works. • Ensure drawings comply with DEWA standards, project specifications and approved drawings . • Maintain proper drawing records, revisions and document control. • Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Drafting or related field . • 5+ years of experience as a Civil Draftsman, preferably in substation / power projects . • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and civil construction drawings. • Experience in DEWA / utility / electrical substation projects is highly preferred
