Industrial Projects Manager - Project Logistics

**1\. Project Leadership \& Execution** * Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of industrial project logistics from tender stage through execution and project close‑out. * Lead project planning, including route studies, feasibility assessments, transport engineering, and risk mitigation strategies. * Approve method statements, lifting plans, and HSSE documentation prepared by operational teams. * Ensure compliance with technical requirements, safety standards, and contractual obligations. * Monitor critical project milestones and intervene proactively to resolve operational bottlenecks. **2\. Commercial \& Financial Management** * Lead project budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting. * Review and approve quotations, vendor selections, and major procurement decisions. * Ensure accurate billing, margin protection, and timely financial closure of projects. * Support commercial teams in tender preparation, solution design, and customer presentations. **3\. Customer \& Stakeholder Engagement** * Serve as the senior point of contact for key project clients, EPCs, OEMs, and strategic partners. * Conduct project review meetings, performance evaluations, and post‑project debriefs. * Manage escalations, negotiate solutions, and ensure adherence to service\-level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs. * Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with chartering, engineering, HSSE, finance, and country operations teams. **4\. Vendor \& Carrier Management** * Oversee relationships with heavy‑lift carriers, vessel owners, transport engineering firms, and specialized subcontractors. * Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and safety requirements. * Approve major subcontracting decisions and negotiate key commercial terms. **5\. Governance, Compliance \& Risk Control** * Ensure all project activities comply with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and HSSE standards. * Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation plans for high‑risk cargo movements. * Maintain audit‑ready documentation and ensure adherence to internal governance frameworks. **6\. Team Leadership \& Development** * Supervise and mentor Industrial Projects Specialists, coordinators, and field teams. * Build capability in heavy‑lift logistics, project planning, and operational excellence. * Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. **Required Competencies** * Deep expertise in multimodal project logistics, heavy‑lift operations, and chartering. * Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project P\&L. * Advanced knowledge of Incoterms, HSSE frameworks, and transport engineering principles. * Proficiency with logistics ERP systems (SAP, CargoWise, or similar). * Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills. * Ability to manage multiple large‑scale projects under tight timelines.
