Industrial Logistics Manager

Job Overview Konoike Vina is seeking an experienced and highly organized Industrial Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize logistics operations supporting industrial activities in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment while ensuring efficient transportation, inventory control, warehouse operations, and timely delivery. The role requires strong operational leadership, problem\-solving ability, and the capacity to coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers, transport providers, warehouse teams, and internal departments. The Industrial Logistics Manager will also contribute to improving logistics efficiency, controlling operational costs, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that logistics activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and applicable Kuwait regulations. Key Responsibilities * Manage day\-to\-day industrial logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations. * Plan and coordinate the movement of materials, equipment, and other industrial goods. * Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and ensure timely deliveries. * Coordinate with transport companies, freight forwarders, suppliers, customers, and other logistics partners. * Oversee inventory levels, stock movements, receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatch activities. * Maintain accurate logistics, inventory, shipment, and operational records. * Monitor transportation and logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction. * Develop efficient transportation and delivery schedules. * Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of industrial materials and equipment. * Resolve delivery delays, transportation issues, inventory discrepancies, and other operational problems. * Prepare regular logistics performance reports and provide operational updates to management. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including delivery performance, inventory accuracy, transportation costs, and turnaround time. * Lead, supervise, and develop logistics and warehouse personnel. * Coordinate closely with procurement, operations, finance, project, and other relevant departments. * Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety requirements, and applicable local regulations. * Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reliability, and service quality. * Maintain strong working relationships with customers and external logistics service providers. QualificationsRequired * Bachelor’s degree in **Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field**. * **5–8 years of relevant experience** in logistics, supply chain, transportation, warehousing, or industrial operations. * At least **2–3 years of supervisory or managerial experience**. * Strong knowledge of logistics, warehouse, inventory, and transportation operations. * Experience coordinating multiple logistics activities and external service providers. * Good understanding of inventory control and material\-handling procedures. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly **Excel**. * Experience using **ERP, WMS, or other logistics/inventory management systems**. * Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to manage priorities and work effectively under operational pressure. * Good command of **English**, both written and spoken. * Knowledge of local Kuwait logistics, transportation, customs, and regulatory procedures is an advantage. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in **industrial, engineering, construction, oil \& gas, manufacturing, or heavy\-equipment logistics**. * Professional certification such as **CSCP, CPIM, CIPS, or equivalent** is an advantage. * Experience managing third\-party logistics providers and transportation contractors. * Knowledge of international shipping, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and **Incoterms**. * Familiarity with QHSE requirements and industrial safety practices. * Previous experience working in Kuwait or the GCC.
