Industrial Engineering Manager

About the Role Sahaba Enplast Projects is seeking an experienced and results\-driven **Industrial Engineering Manager** to lead engineering and process\-improvement activities across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving operational efficiency, optimizing production and project processes, managing engineering initiatives, and supporting the organization in achieving its productivity, quality, cost, and delivery objectives. The role requires a strong combination of technical engineering knowledge, project management capability, analytical thinking, and leadership skills. The Industrial Engineering Manager will work closely with operations, production, project, procurement, quality, maintenance, and management teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement practical, measurable solutions. Key Responsibilities * Lead industrial engineering activities related to process optimization, productivity improvement, and operational efficiency. * Analyze existing workflows, production processes, resource utilization, and operational procedures to identify areas for improvement. * Develop and implement methods to reduce waste, improve productivity, control costs, and optimize manpower and equipment utilization. * Establish and monitor engineering and operational performance indicators and provide regular reports to senior management. * Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering improvement projects from initial assessment through implementation. * Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, work measurement, process mapping, and resource planning as required. * Develop and improve standard operating procedures, work instructions, process documentation, and engineering standards. * Coordinate with production and project teams to ensure efficient allocation of labor, materials, equipment, and other resources. * Identify operational risks and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions. * Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure engineering processes comply with applicable standards and company requirements. * Collaborate with maintenance and technical teams to improve equipment reliability, availability, and utilization. * Evaluate project requirements, schedules, resources, and technical constraints and recommend practical solutions. * Lead and mentor engineers, supervisors, and technical personnel while promoting a culture of continuous improvement. * Prepare technical reports, feasibility assessments, cost analyses, project plans, and management presentations. * Monitor project and process performance and ensure agreed targets are achieved within budget and schedule. * Maintain awareness of current industrial engineering practices, technologies, and continuous\-improvement methodologies. Required Qualifications * **Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.** * **7\+ years of relevant engineering or industrial operations experience**, including demonstrated experience in a supervisory or management capacity. * Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles, process optimization, production planning, and resource management. * Demonstrated experience managing engineering, production, or operational improvement projects. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational and engineering data. * Experience with continuous\-improvement methodologies such as **Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, or similar practices**. * Good understanding of project management principles, scheduling, cost control, and resource planning. * Proficiency in **Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint**; familiarity with engineering or project\-management software is an advantage. * Ability to prepare technical documentation, reports, procedures, and management\-level presentations. * Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and team\-management skills. * Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and senior management. * Strong knowledge of workplace health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements. Preferred Qualifications * Professional engineering certification or registration is an advantage. * **PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, or other recognized project/continuous\-improvement certification** is preferred. * Experience in **industrial projects, manufacturing, construction, engineering services, or related project\-based environments**. * Experience working in Kuwait or the wider GCC region is an advantage. * Familiarity with **ERP systems, AutoCAD, planning/scheduling software, or engineering management systems** is desirable. * Strong understanding of project cost estimation, productivity measurement, and performance improvement.
