KSA Technical Recruitment Campaign 2026 Location: Saudi Arabia Function: Maintenance RO Desalination / CCGT Power Generation Job Summary ACWA Operations is seeking experienced Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineers for upcoming opportunities across RO desalination and CCGT power plants in Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for planning, supervising, and improving instrumentation and control maintenance activities to ensure reliable measurement, control, and protection systems through effective maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and outage support. Roles & Responsibilities • Plan and supervise preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of instrumentation and control systems. • Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of field instruments, analysers, control valves, DCS/PLC systems, and protection equipment. • Provide technical support for RO desalination instrumentation or CCGT turbine, HRSG, steam-water, and balance-of-plant control systems. • Coordinate instrument calibration, loop checks, functional testing, and approved protection/interlock testing with Operations. • Investigate control-system failures, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement reliability improvements. • Manage approved control logic, setpoint, and configuration changes while maintaining accurate technical documentation and system backups. • Coordinate maintenance activities, planned outages, work orders through CMMS/SAP, spare parts, and technical evaluations with relevant teams and OEM representatives. • Supervise I&C maintenance personnel, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with HSE, IMS, and applicable legal requirements. Job Specifications Minimum Education • Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Minimum Experience • 8 10 years of experience in Instrumentation & Control maintenance within power generation and/or water desalination plants. • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role. • Relevant RO desalination or CCGT power plant maintenance experience is preferred. • Extensive related experience and training, ideally 12 years, is preferred. Required Skills • Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation, DCS/PLC systems, control and protection logic, and field equipment. • Experience in calibration planning, loop checks, functional testing, and instrumentation troubleshooting. • Ability to interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control-system documentation. • Knowledge of root-cause analysis, configuration management, preventive/predictive maintenance, and reliability improvement. • Experience in maintenance planning, outage coordination, and critical instrumentation and control systems. • Working knowledge of CMMS/SAP, technical reporting, and maintenance documentation. • Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning, and English communication skills.
