HSE Officer

1. HSE Implementation & Compliance • Implement company HSE policies, procedures, and project safety plans for building construction projects. • Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, & international standards (OSHA, ISO). • Monitor work activities to ensure safe practices are followed. • Ensure compliance with KSA safety regulations and company HSE policies. • Coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, and consultants on HSE matters. 2. Site Inspections & Risk Management • Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits. • Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented. • Carry out risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA). • Monitor high-risk activities (lifting, working at height, confined space). • Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify hazards • Monitor Permit to Work (PTW) system implementation • Maintain safety documentation and records 3. Training & Awareness • Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions. • Promote safety awareness campaigns and initiatives. • Guide supervisors and workers on safe practices. • Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) 4. Incident Management & Reporting • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses. • Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions. • Maintain HSE records and documentation. 5. Emergency Preparedness • Ensure emergency procedures are in place and understood. • Participate in emergency drills and response planning. • Coordinate with first aiders and emergency teams. • Additional responsibilities as assigned by the line manager. • Stop unsafe work activities when required • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent is mandatory. • Strong knowledge of building construction safety practices in KSA. • Risk assessment and hazard identification skills. • Investigation and reporting skills. • Good communication and training skills. • Ability to conduct training and toolbox talks. • Good documentation and reporting skills. • Leadership and problem-solving ability.
