Hospitality Design Director

Job Overview Gazebo Cadirtente is seeking an experienced and visionary Hospitality Design Director to lead the creative direction and execution of high\-end hospitality projects. This role is responsible for overseeing the design process from concept development through project completion, ensuring that every project reflects exceptional creativity, functionality, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a strategic design leader with extensive experience in hospitality environments such as hotels, resorts, restaurants, and mixed\-use developments. They will collaborate with clients, consultants, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, guest\-focused spaces while maintaining project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities * Lead the design vision for hospitality projects from concept through construction. * Direct and mentor multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring high\-quality design deliverables. * Develop creative concepts, presentations, space planning, and material selections that align with client objectives and brand standards. * Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and project managers throughout all project phases. * Review drawings, specifications, and design documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. * Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation while maintaining design excellence. * Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback into project development. * Stay informed of emerging hospitality design trends, sustainability practices, and innovative materials. * Ensure compliance with local building regulations, safety codes, accessibility standards, and industry best practices. * Foster strong client relationships and contribute to business development opportunities when required. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage. * Minimum of **10 years** of progressive experience in hospitality interior design or architecture, including at least **5 years** in a leadership or director\-level role. * Demonstrated portfolio showcasing completed hospitality projects such as hotels, resorts, restaurants, or luxury developments. * Strong knowledge of hospitality planning, guest experience principles, FF\&E (Furniture, Fixtures \& Equipment), and material specifications. * Proficiency in industry\-standard design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. * Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and managing multiple concurrent projects. * Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills. * Strong understanding of construction documentation, project management, and contract administration. * Knowledge of international hospitality design standards, local building codes, and sustainability principles. * Professional registration or membership with a recognized design or architectural organization is preferred.
