High School Dean of Students

Position Overview The Dean of Students will work closely with school leaders, teachers, counselors, learning support and parents to implement student behavior intervention strategies, support, engagement, and maintain a positive school climate. Responsibilities include monitoring student attendance and discipline, implementing conflict resolution strategies, and contributing to school-wide initiatives that enhance the student experience. Key Responsibilities • Support and uphold the BBS Code of Conduct and student behavior expectations. • Implement positive behavior interventions (PBIS) and support student well-being. • Collaborate with counselors, teachers, learning support and parents to address student concerns. • Maintain and analyze attendance and discipline records to inform school decisions. • Proactively develop and implement conflict resolution strategies to support student success. • Assist in the coordination of school-wide events, safety plans, and leadership initiatives.
