Overview of the Role Are you a skilled automotive technician with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and general repairs? We are currently building a strong pool of talented General Repair Technicians for future opportunities across the UAE . As a General Repair Technician, you will carry out periodic maintenance and general repair work while ensuring vehicles are serviced to high standards of quality and safety . The role requires strong technical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to complete repair work efficiently. You will work on a variety of mechanical repairs, including brakes, clutches, steering, suspension, and other general repair activities, while ensuring vehicles are completed within the required delivery time. What You Will Do • Carry out periodic vehicle maintenance and general repair activities. • Independently perform mechanical repairs, including brakes, clutches, steering, and suspension . • Complete vehicle inspections accurately and identify required repair work. • Ensure all repairs are completed to the required quality and safety standards. • Accurately document work performed and maintain clear repair-order reporting. • Complete assigned work efficiently and within the required vehicle delivery time. • Follow Health, Safety, and Environment requirements and maintain an organized work environment. • Communicate with the Team Leader regarding repair progress, results, and any technical support required. • Share technical knowledge and support the development of other technicians. • Participate in on-the-job learning and coaching to continuously develop technical capabilities. Required Skills to Be Successful • Strong knowledge of vehicle periodic maintenance and general mechanical repairs. • Hands-on ability to work on brakes, clutches, steering, and suspension systems . • Good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment requirements. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Good reporting and repair write-up skills. • Ability to communicate effectively in English. • Ability to work effectively within a multicultural team. • Strong focus on quality, safety, productivity, and efficiency. What Equips You for the Role • Technical Diploma, ITI/NCVT Certificate, ITC, or equivalent technical certification. • Practical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and general repair work. • Ability to independently carry out mechanical repairs such as brakes, clutches, steering, and suspension. • Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment practices. • Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills. • Conversational English. • Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
