Mechanic

• Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical and technical problems. • Perform routine maintenance and preventive servicing of vehicles. • Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, and cooling systems. • Carry out oil changes, filter replacements, brake servicing, and other general maintenance. • Perform vehicle inspections and identify parts requiring repair or replacement. • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle faults. • Repair or replace defective mechanical components and parts. • Check and maintain vehicle electrical and battery systems when required. • Ensure all repairs are completed according to manufacturer and company standards. • Conduct road tests after repairs to confirm that the vehicle is operating properly. • Maintain proper records of vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities. • Inform the Workshop Supervisor of major defects, repair requirements, and additional parts required. • Ensure tools, equipment, and workshop areas are kept clean and properly maintained. • Follow all workshop safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment. • Minimize unnecessary parts usage and ensure proper handling of company tools and equipment. • Support other workshop activities as required. • Diploma, or technical qualification in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering is preferred. • 2–5 years of experience as an Auto Mechanic, preferably in the UAE. • Good knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and repair procedures. • Experience with different vehicle makes and models is an advantage. • Ability to use vehicle diagnostic equipment and workshop tools. • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Ability to read and understand basic technical manuals and specifications. • Good physical fitness and ability to work in a workshop environment. • UAE driving license is an advantage. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
