Job description

Key Responsibilities: 1. Fleet Operations Management: • Supervise daily dispatch and recovery operations, ensuring timely, efficient, and safe roadside assistance services. • Monitor and maintain fleet vehicles, overseeing regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs in accordance with industry standards. • Implement best practices in fleet utilization, fuel management, and cost control. 2. Team Leadership and HR Compliance: • Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of recovery drivers, ensuring all HR policies, performance metrics, and compliance standards are upheld. • Collaborate with HR to align staffing needs, professional development initiatives, and performance review criteria. • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, safety, and customer service excellence. 3. Contract Acquisition and Business Development: • Identify, pursue, and secure new contracts and partnership opportunities to expand the recovery service client base. • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies, roadside assistance networks, corporate fleets, and other key stakeholders. • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making and pricing models. 4. Financial and Budget Oversight: • Prepare and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost effectiveness while meeting service quality standards. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fleet operations and contract acquisitions, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management. Qualifications and Skills: • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Extensive experience (5+ years) in fleet management, logistics, or automotive recovery services preferred. • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with fleet management software, GPS tracking systems, and standard maintenance protocols. • Leadership Abilities: Strong team management, communication, and decision-making skills. Experience leading diverse operational teams is a plus. • Business Acumen: Demonstrated success in developing new business and managing vendor or client relationships. • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of industry regulations, safety standards, and HR compliance requirements.
