Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented, Finance Manager with prior experience in hospital to oversee the financial operations of a healthcare organization in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, cash flow management, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations and internal policies. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and the capacity to support management in making informed financial decisions. Key Responsibilities • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. • Prepare and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections. • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. • Monitor financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve operational efficiency. • Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial policies in Oman. • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support audit requirements. • Establish and maintain effective financial controls and risk management procedures. • Monitor hospital expenses, revenue, and financial performance, where applicable. • Supervise and guide the finance and accounting team. • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support strategic planning and decision-making. Qualifications and Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. • Hospital experience mandatory • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or an equivalent qualification would be an advantage. • Relevant experience in financial management, preferably within a hospital or healthcare organization. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls. • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and team management abilities.
