FACILITIES MANAGER (AVIATION)

• Manage end-to-end Hard and Soft FM operations within an operational aircraft hangar. • Oversee MEP systems, HVAC, fire and life safety systems, specialist hangar doors and critical infrastructure. • Manage specialist cleaning, housekeeping, waste management, pest control and other soft services. • Ensure compliance with airside and landside operational procedures, airport safety regulations and security requirements. • Implement and monitor FOD (Foreign Object Debris) control, housekeeping standards and aviation-specific safety protocols. • Manage restricted-area access, security passes, key/fob control and contractor movements. • Oversee PPM, reactive maintenance, asset management and CAFM operations. • Coordinate with airport authorities, aircraft operators, maintenance teams and specialist contractors. • Manage manpower, subcontractors, budgets, SLAs, KPIs and client reporting. • Lead HSE compliance, emergency preparedness, permit-to-work systems and operational risk assessments. • Minimum 7–10 years of Facilities Management experience, including direct experience in aircraft hangars or aviation facilities. • Proven experience managing both Hard and Soft FM services. • Strong knowledge of airside/landside operations, FOD prevention and airport access protocols. • Familiarity with aviation safety requirements, GCAA/ICAO standards and relevant NFPA codes. • Experience in managing critical engineering systems and specialist aviation infrastructure. • Engineering or Facilities Management qualification preferred. • Strong leadership, client management and operational planning capabilities. • UAE aviation facilities experience is highly preferred.
