Events Architect with Engineering

• Conceptualize and design innovative event experiences by integrating cutting-edge engineering principles and technologies. • Translate creative event concepts into detailed technical blueprints, schematics, and specifications for execution. • Oversee the technical production and implementation of complex event elements, ensuring flawless delivery and safety. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including creative, production, and operations to achieve unified event goals. • Manage and optimize event infrastructure, including AV, lighting, staging, and interactive installations, for maximum impact and efficiency. • Conduct rigorous risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for all technical aspects of an event. • Source, evaluate, and integrate new technologies and engineering solutions to elevate event design and functionality. • Develop and manage technical budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality or innovation. • Provide expert technical consultation and problem-solving throughout the event lifecycle, from ideation to post-event analysis. • Stay abreast of industry trends in event technology, engineering, and experiential design to drive continuous improvement. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field; Master's preferred. • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in event production, technical direction, or experiential design. • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex technical systems for large-scale events or installations. • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and 3D modeling tools for design visualization. • Deep understanding of AV systems, lighting design, structural engineering, and power distribution for events. • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or relevant engineering disciplines is advantageous. • Experience with event technology platforms, AR/VR integrations, and interactive exhibit design is a plus. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. • Strong project management capabilities, with experience managing multiple concurrent technical projects. • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a creative and analytical approach to technical challenges.
