Enterprise Architecture Consultant

About the Role I3B Solutions is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architecture Consultant to support organizations in aligning their business strategy, processes, information, applications, and technology with their long\-term objectives. The consultant will analyze existing technology environments, identify opportunities for improvement, develop target\-state architectures, and establish practical roadmaps for digital transformation and technology modernization. This position requires a strong combination of **enterprise architecture knowledge, technical expertise, strategic thinking, and consulting skills**. The successful candidate will work with business and technology stakeholders to develop solutions that are scalable, secure, cost\-effective, and aligned with organizational priorities. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain enterprise architecture strategies, principles, standards, and roadmaps. * Assess current business, application, data, and technology architectures. * Identify architectural gaps, risks, dependencies, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement. * Design target\-state enterprise architectures aligned with business and technology strategies. * Develop architecture models, capability maps, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps. * Translate business requirements into practical architectural solutions. * Establish and support architecture governance, standards, and review processes. * Evaluate enterprise applications, cloud platforms, integration technologies, infrastructure, and emerging technologies. * Provide architectural guidance throughout technology projects and transformation initiatives. * Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, project managers, vendors, and other stakeholders. * Lead architecture workshops and present recommendations to technical and executive audiences. * Support cloud adoption, application modernization, systems integration, data initiatives, and broader digital transformation programs. * Prepare architecture documentation, assessments, presentations, and recommendations. * Monitor technology trends and recommend appropriate solutions that can improve organizational capabilities and efficiency. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field**. * **5\+ years of professional experience** in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, IT consulting, technology strategy, or a related discipline. * Experience working across multiple enterprise architecture domains, including **business, application, data, and technology architecture**. * Strong understanding of **TOGAF or comparable enterprise architecture frameworks**. * Experience developing target\-state architectures, capability models, architecture roadmaps, and technology strategies. * Knowledge of modern enterprise technologies, including **cloud computing, APIs, enterprise integration, databases, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications**. * Experience with architecture governance, standards, technology assessments, and IT strategy. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to business and executive stakeholders. * Strong stakeholder\-management and consulting skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high\-quality work within project deadlines. Preferred Qualifications * **TOGAF certification** preferred. * Experience with **ArchiMate** or other enterprise architecture modeling approaches. * Cloud certification in **AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud** is an advantage. * ITIL, COBIT, SAFe, or other relevant professional certifications are a plus. * Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Enterprise Architecture, or a related field is advantageous. * Experience supporting large\-scale digital transformation or technology modernization programs. * Previous experience in a consulting or professional\-services environment. * Experience working with large enterprises, government organizations, financial institutions, telecommunications, healthcare, energy, or similarly complex environments.
