Driver Cum Technician

Department: Technical Operations / Maintenance Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Operations Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and responsible MEP Technician cum Driver to carry out AC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance works at residential villas, apartments, commercial buildings, and other client properties across Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for attending maintenance complaints, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, transporting technicians and materials to job sites, and ensuring timely completion of assigned work orders while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service. • Key Responsibilities 1. AC & HVAC Maintenance • Perform AC servicing, filter cleaning, drain line cleaning, and routine preventive maintenance. • Troubleshoot common AC cooling issues, water leakage, and drainage blockages. • Assist with AC installation, dismantling, and replacement works. • Identify technical faults and report major repairs requiring specialist attention. 2. Electrical Maintenance • Carry out minor electrical repairs, lighting replacement, socket repairs, and basic troubleshooting. • Inspect switches, electrical accessories, and other building electrical components. • Follow safe isolation procedures and use appropriate tools and PPE. • Escalate major electrical faults to the supervisor or qualified specialist. 3. Plumbing Maintenance • Repair leaking taps, mixers, valves, and sanitary fixtures. • Attend water leakage complaints and drainage blockages. • Carry out minor pipe repairs and assist with water heater and pump maintenance. • Check completed work for leaks and proper operation. 4. General Maintenance • Perform minor painting, carpentry, handyman, and building maintenance works. • Attend service requests at villas, apartments, offices, and commercial properties. • Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are used correctly and kept in good condition. • Maintain cleanliness at the work site after completing maintenance activities. 5. Driving & Site Coordination • Drive the company vehicle to transport technicians, tools, materials, and spare parts to assigned locations. • Attend scheduled maintenance visits and emergency service calls across Dubai. • Follow daily schedules and directions provided by the supervisor or operations team. • Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and maintained according to schedule. • Monitor fuel levels, vehicle documents, and service requirements. • Follow UAE traffic laws, parking regulations, and safe driving practices. 6. Job Reporting & Customer Service • Complete job cards, maintenance checklists, and service reports. • Take before-and-after photographs when required. • Inform the supervisor about additional repairs, material requirements, and unresolved faults. • Communicate politely with customers and obtain job completion confirmation. • Ensure tools and unused materials are returned to the designated storage area.
