An exceptional senior nursing leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Director of Nursing Cardiac Services with our prestigious client hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Role
The Director of Nursing Cardiac Services will provide strategic, professional and operational nursing leadership across specialist cardiac services, working closely with senior medical, nursing and hospital leadership teams.
The position offers exposure to a sophisticated cardiac environment encompassing adult and paediatric cardiac services and complex, high-acuity patient care.
Cardiac services may include:
• Adult and paediatric cardiac care
• Cardiac critical care and step-down services
• Cardiac surgery
• Adult and paediatric cardiac surgical intensive care
• Cardiac operating theatres
• Electrophysiology
• Advanced cardiac imaging and non-invasive cardiac services
• Mechanical circulatory support
• Adult and paediatric heart transplantation
• Specialist cardiac clinics and nurse-led services
• Cardiovascular education and research
The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting clinical excellence, patient safety, nursing standards, clinical governance, quality improvement, staff development and the continued advancement of specialist cardiac nursing services.
Requirements
• Bachelor s Degree in Nursing
• Master s Degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Current registration as a professional Registered Nurse
• Eligible for registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
• Minimum of 10 years current clinical nursing experience
• Significant cardiac nursing experience gained within a leading tertiary or quaternary hospital/medical centre
• Extensive senior nursing leadership experience within Cardiac Services, with experience in complex, high-acuity cardiac care
• Demonstrated experience in nursing leadership, clinical governance, quality improvement, patient safety and workforce development
