The Operating Room provides elective and emergency surgical services for adult, paediatric and neonatal patients across a wide range of complex surgical specialties.
The Operating Room comprises:
• Seven operating theatre surgical suites
• One Labour & Delivery Caesarean Section operating theatre
• One Minor Operating Room
• One Hybrid Catheterisation Laboratory
Cardiac Operating Room nurses have the opportunity to support cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures as part of a multidisciplinary perioperative team.
The wider Operating Room service also covers complex specialties including:
• Cardiovascular and thoracic surgery
• Neurosurgery
• Vascular surgery
• Kidney transplantation
• Hepatobiliary surgery
• General, open and laparoscopic surgery
• Colorectal surgery
• Adult and paediatric orthopaedic surgery
• Paediatric surgery
• ENT surgery
• Urology
• Obstetrics and Gynaecology
• Breast and breast oncology surgery
• Plastic surgery
• Ophthalmology
• Maxillofacial and dental surgery
• Bone marrow harvest procedures
The service also supports emergency procedures undertaken in specialist critical-care areas when required, including neonatal and post-cardiac surgical patients.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Cardiac Operating Room Registered Nurses looking to further develop their skills in cardiovascular, thoracic and complex perioperative nursing at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, Jeddah. Sign-On Bonus USD 2,500 for a one-year contract or USD 5,000 for a two-year contract.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Current licensure as a professional registered nurse
Eligible for registration with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
Minimum of two (2) years of current clinical nursing experience following licensure/registration in the country of origin
