**DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT** is looking for **Director\- Infrastructure Design Projects** in **Doha, Qatar** **Job Summary** Director focuses on governance, strategic oversight, technical assurance and leadership multiple programs. Extensive historical design experience but no longer directly involved in detailed design activities. Leads organizational and strategic decision making. Role Purpose\- Lead the strategic oversight, governance and performance of major infrastructure design programs across PWA. Provide executive\- level technical assurance, design review, stakeholder management and decision making Profile\- Senior infrastructure professional with strong design background gained earlier in career and now operating primarily in a review, governance and leadership capacity Reporting to\- Executive Director, Infrastructure Programs Strategic Leadership\- Develop and implement design governance strategies for major programs. Align project delivery with PWA strategic objectives. Lead continuous improvement and innovation initiatives Design Management\- Review and approve major design submissions. Provide technical assurance and executive oversight across multiple projects. Establish quality and design governance frameworks. Project Delivery\- Oversee performance of multiple major infrastructure projects and programs. Monitor budgets, schedules, risks, and overall delivery performance. Technical involvement\- Strategic review and challenge function. Focus on design governance, risk management and technical assurance rather than detailed design activities. Stakeholder Management\- Engage with senior government officials, utility authorities, municipalities, executive management and strategic partners People Leadership\- Lead design Managers, and technical specialists. Build organizational capability and succession planning Decision Making Authority \- Approves major design recommendations, governance decisions, technical strategies and program priorities. Education\- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Master’s Degree preferred. 18\-20 years of infrastructure engineering and project delivery experience. Minimum 8 years in senior leadership roles gained during the earlier stages of career before progressing into senior leadership. Professional certificate\- Chartered Engineering ( CEng) , PE, PMP or equivalent preferred Project experience\- Experience overseeing major roads, highways, drainage, utilities, transportation, and public infrastructure programs. Public infrastructure authorities, government organizations, transportation agencies or major engineering firms experience required.
