About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned Data Scientist to join our dynamic analytics team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will lead end-to-end machine learning and data analytics projects, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive data-driven decision making to support strategic business objectives. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy predictive models and advanced analytics solutions • Lead data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing pipelines at scale • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions • Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts • Perform exploratory data analysis and communicate insights through visualizations and executive presentations • Optimize and productionize machine learning models in cloud and on-premise environments • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with organizational standards • Stay current with emerging tools, techniques, and industry best practices Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in the energy, oil & gas, or utilities sector • Knowledge of data engineering tools such as Airflow, dbt, or Kafka • Familiarity with MLOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for machine learning • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker • Professional certifications in data science or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning) • Leadership experience in mentoring high-performance analytics teams Position Details • Position Title: Data Scientist • Location: Abudhabi, United Arab Emirates • Industry: Software Engineering • Experience Required: 10+ years • 10+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields • Master s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline • Expertise in Python or R and libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch • Proficient in SQL and experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) • Strong background in statistical modeling, time series analysis, and experimental design • Experience deploying models to production using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights • Proven track record of leading analytics projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams • Strong communication skills and ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences
