Data Analyst Consultant

The Job Description • Data Extraction and Automation: Extract member, policy, and purchase data from IBM Cognos and multiple Excel sources. Develop automated data pipelines using Power Query, Power BI dataflows, and scheduled reports to improve efficiency and data accuracy. • Member Data Management: Maintain and update daily master trackers for purchased, eligible, and expired NWU and BU members, ensuring consistent and accurate records across all data sources. • Campaign Management and Analytics: Prepare daily target member lists, track communication campaigns across SMS, IVR, and push notifications, and analyze conversion rates and campaign effectiveness. • Campaign Impact Measurement: Design A/B tests and control groups, establish attribution rules, and measure the incremental impact of communications on member purchases. • Data Quality and Reconciliation: Perform data validation, de-duplication, and reconciliation to maintain data integrity and consistency. • Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor member conversion, campaign performance, funnel progression, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports. • Segmentation and Optimization: Analyze conversion performance by member demographics, plan, corporate segment, region, and communication channel to recommend effective targeting strategies. • Campaign Coordination: Coordinate with technical teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of daily communication campaigns and resolve data or execution issues. • Documentation and Data Governance: Maintain organized data files, historical archives, reference tables, and process documentation while ensuring compliance with confidentiality, data protection, and information security requirements. Requirements: Tagged as: DAX , index-match , NWU , power bi. , power query , xlookup • Bachelor s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field. • +3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting, preferably in insurance, healthcare, banking, or telecommunications. • Hands-on experience extracting and reporting data using IBM Cognos. • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and pivot tables. • Proven experience developing Power BI dashboards, data models, DAX measures, and scheduled data refreshes. • Experience automating data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, and reporting processes. • Working knowledge of A/B testing, control group design, campaign attribution, and conversion analysis. • Experience analyzing marketing campaigns, customer segmentation, and conversion funnels. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills, with excellent attention to detail. • Ability to coordinate effectively with business stakeholders, marketing teams, and technical teams. • Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is preferred. • Commitment to data confidentiality, secure data handling, and compliance with applicable data protection requirements.
