Consultant / Staff Physician, Radiation Oncology

The successful physician will provide consultant-level radiation oncology assessment and treatment planning and work closely with medical oncology, surgery, pathology, radiology and other multidisciplinary cancer-care services. Clinical Responsibilities Conduct specialist radiation oncology consultations. Evaluate patients with newly diagnosed and established malignancies. Review pathology, imaging and other diagnostic information. Develop individualized radiation treatment plans. Determine appropriate treatment approaches within the physician's scope. Monitor treatment response and manage treatment-related complications. Participate in multidisciplinary tumour-board discussions. Coordinate care with medical oncology, surgical oncology and other specialties. Provide patients and families with appropriate information regarding treatment. Maintain detailed clinical and treatment records. Participate in clinical quality and safety programmes. Support evidence-based oncology practice. Requirements Recognized medical degree. Recognized specialist qualification in Radiation Oncology. Consultant/staff physician-level experience. Significant experience in radiation oncology. Eligibility for UAE/Abu Dhabi medical licensing. Strong multidisciplinary communication skills.
