Civil Project Engineer

• Manage and supervise structural and infrastructure construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. • Oversee construction of reinforced concrete structures, foundations, retaining walls, culverts, bridges, manholes, and other infrastructure-related structures. • Review structural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with design requirements. • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, QA/QC, HSE, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution. • Monitor site activities, including excavation, formwork, reinforcement, concrete pouring, and structural finishing works. • Ensure proper implementation of construction methods, quality standards, and safety procedures. • Coordinate with surveyors and technical teams to verify structural dimensions, levels, and alignment. • Prepare and review method statements, material submittals, inspection requests, and technical documentation. • Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project milestones. • Identify technical issues, resolve site discrepancies, and coordinate RFIs and design clarifications with consultants. • Conduct site inspections and coordinate concrete testing, reinforcement inspections, and other quality-control activities. • Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and assist the Project Manager in planning, cost control, and project coordination. • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. • Relevant experience in building construction, particularly structural works. • Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and technical specifications. • Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, construction methods, and HSE requirements. • UAE building construction experience is preferred.
