Civil Engineer

• Construction & Site Supervision • Supervise and manage daily construction activities for G+4 or G+12 building projects. • Oversee site activities from excavation and foundation works through structural construction, blockwork, plastering, finishing, and handover. • Ensure construction activities are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. • Monitor site progress and coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, consultants, and project management teams. • Resolve site-related technical issues and ensure smooth execution of work. • Dubai Municipality & Authority Approvals • Maintain compliance with Dubai Municipality, ang other Government Authorities regulations and applicable UAE building codes. • Coordinate with DM, consultants, and other relevant authorities for inspections and approvals. • Ensure the availability of approved drawings, permits, inspection requests, and other required documentation. • Coordinate inspections at different stages of construction and address consultant or authority comments. • Technical & Drawing Coordination • Read, interpret, and implement structural, architectural, and construction drawings. • Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve drawing discrepancies. • Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements as required. • Quality Control & Safety • Ensure construction works meet the required quality standards and project specifications. • Conduct routine site inspections and coordinate quality inspections with consultants. • Monitor concrete pouring, reinforcement fixing, formwork, and other critical construction activities. • Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and applicable HSE requirements. • Project Planning & Reporting • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly construction progress against the approved programme. • Prepare site progress reports and communicate project updates to management. • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor requirements. • Identify potential delays and recommend corrective actions. • Minimum 7-8+ years of relevant UAE building construction experience. • Valid Dubai Municipality G+4 or G+12 approval is mandatory. • Proven experience handling multi-storey building projects from excavation to completion. • Good knowledge of UAE construction practices, authority requirements, and consultant coordination.
